HowTo burn an ISO
From OFSET Wiki
[edit] GNU/Linux users
Just use your favorite CD burner program: xCDroast, K3b, etc.: their behavior with ISO files is very intuitive and does the job easily.
[edit] Windows users
You must beware of some programs' default behavior:
- for example many users of Nero make an unvoluntary mistake, and burn a CDROM containing the ISO file as the unique file in their filesystem. This is not advisable. You must create a CDROM containing exactly the byte sequence contained in the ISO file, and not embed this file into a new filesystem.
- other users wanting to copy a Freeduc-CD put it into their CD drive, see its contents, and then create a CDROM with the same set of files. However such a CDROM cannot be used to boot their computer.
